An inspirational speaker, motivator, author, organizer, and “liberator of persons from all intellectual, social and cultural walks of life,” Dr. Grey is a committed advocate for communal change. As a strong proponent of gathering the masses through grassroots efforts, he has dedicated much of his life to mobilizing and inspiring others to achieve their true potential.
A native of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area, Dr. Grey graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, in 1991. After receiving his call to preach in 1997, Dr. Grey earned a Master of Divinity degree from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, Richmond, Virginia, in 2002. In 2012, Dr. Grey was awarded a Doctorate of Divinity degree from St. Thomas Christian University in Jacksonville, Florida
As a former pastor of The Liberation Temple, a non-denominational Christian Church in Mt. Rainer, MD, Dr. Grey initiated the following programs: a monthly feeding program that fed over 200 homeless men and women throughout the Washington, DC area, a yearly back-to-school program that provided school supplies to children within the community, an outreach program that supplied clothes and resources to victims of domestic abuse, computers to a local elementary school, entrepreneurship workshops for the youth, seminars on ending violence, and much more just to name a few.
In 2021, Dr. Grey was ordained an Itinerant Elder in the AME Church at the 147th Annual Session of the Atlanta North Conference. He was appointed and served as Pastor of Mayfield Zion AME Church in Alamo, Ga, from 2021 to 2022. While there. Dr. Grey initiated a weekly Bible Study (the first in the church's history) and established a bi-monthly food distribution program for the city. With this program, food is distributed to over 200 families who live in a food desert. Dr, Grey also initiated a social justice rally for one of the members who was unfairly charged with 'Stand Your Ground.'
On May 18th, 2022, Dr. Grey was reassigned during the 148th Annual Session of the Atlanta North Conference to become the Pastor of Fidelity AME Church in Atlanta, Ga (west-side area). Under Dr. Grey's leadership, the church was re-opened after being closed for two years, the roof was repaired due to water leakage, insurance was restored, non-profit status 501(c)3 was reinstated, and the tax -issue was adjusted. A proponent of empowerment, Dr. Grey held seminars on mental transformation and financial empowerment. On May 19, 2024, Dr. Grey stepped down from the Pastoral Position within the AME Church to pursue other ministerial opportunities.
Dr. Grey is the author of six books: Seeds of Freedom: Inspirational Messages for Ordinary People with Extraordinary Potential, God Held Back Your Night So That You Can Get It Right, It's In You: Motivational Messages That Will Help Uplift and Empower You, Positive Living Through Positive Affirmations, So, You Think You Want To Date? (Thoughts and Reflections on Wise, Skillful Dating) , and The ABCs of Making Business Networking Work For You.
Dr. Grey was inducted into Cambridge's Who's Who for his work advocating empowerment and justice within the church and country. He currently writes daily inspirational messages that travel throughout the world. He is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Dr. Grey is the co-founder of The Greater Entrepreneur Success Group. He wants to see entrepreneurs succeed, and with his knowledge and vast network of business expertise, he is making it happen. Dr. Grey can speak and coach a wide range of audiences from all business and academic disciplines. Without a doubt, Dr. Grey loves what he does and wants to empower as many people as possible.
